The EQ is a semi-parametric on portions, others have only 4 fixed bands, depending on the composition ... flexible! slice by slice (It is even the interest of the console, you can remove a slice to go into maintenance, to the way X end tray, or disconnect, etc ...). The power supply is well designed, although it warms a bit. Due to the departures unbalanced jack ... you need a symmetrizing transformer behind, otherwise after 50 meters of multicore there will be some surprises! (Buzz ... parasites ...)

Ultra-simple to use for who knows analog consoles, usual functions are found there, PAD, + 48v, gain, EQ, aux, pan, group assignment in pairs (1-2 or 3-4), ON, PFL, fader ... The ALPS faders are pleasant to the touch and properly sized, it glides well, ideal for large fingers. Rotary are small and closely spaced ... but still enjoyable. We still find its manual and diagrams on the net or on demand to Audio SCV importer. It blows a little all slices opened. Otherwise, it sounds ... eq is quite effective, the british eq! The semi-parametric is well thought out, the bell fine enough to remove a feedback and broad enough to make cosmetics. The advantage of this console: easily repairable, bricolable, and still have room in the chassis to add connectors. It is an old console, so it is better to love and learn to tinker revise occasionally. A console like this one is never really H.S.! It is a pro console which collects high levels without twisting. And it is strong!
